What's the difference between a fitness and a stability certificate?

A stability certificate confirms the load-bearing structure is sound. A fitness certificate looks at the building more broadly, covering whether it's safe and fit for its use. We'll tell you which one your situation needs.

What happens if my building doesn't pass?

You get a report that lists exactly what has to be fixed first, rated by severity. Once the repairs are done, we can inspect again.

Do you damage the building to test it?

No. Our assessments are non-destructive: visual inspection, tapping tests and damp checks.

How long does it take?

It depends on the size and type of building. Send us the details and we'll confirm the timeline and price before you book.
